Controller

ID Agent is looking for a Controller to work with the CFO and build a world class finance function. This role manages all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, external audit, taxation and the development of internal controls, policies and process. Aligned to our strategies and rapid growth, the Controller will leverage and implement systems and automation to create a financial infrastructure that is flexible scalable.

The ideal candidate will have SaaS experience and ability to thrive in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate all accounting activities including Order to Cash accounting operations
  • Supervise high volume PCI compliant billing system and subscriber management
  • Plan, implement and manage the month-end and year-end financial close process
  • Responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of GAAP compliant financial statements, revenue recognition, KPI’s and SaaS specific metrics
  • Variance reporting and analysis
  • Compensation related cycles including payroll and sales compensation plans
  • Assist in evaluating, selecting and implementation financial systems to improve automation
  • Develop and implement controls, policies and procedure to maintain an effective control environment
  • Manage annual external audit
  • Assist in preparation of presentations to leadership and investors
  • Manage and coordinate all local, state and federal reporting and tax filings
  • Build and lead accounting team as the company scales

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA Preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive experience
  • Experience with high growth SaaS, recurring revenue, e-Commerce or technology business with software revenue recognition strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding and application of GAAP required
  • Technology savvy, ability to implement and leverage systems such as ERP and recurring billing platforms
  • Self-directed and hands-on creative problem solver, energetic with a sense of urgency

Headquartered just minutes from Annapolis, Maryland, the primary objective of the Sales Development Representative role is to develop and qualify leads to the point of handoff to the Senior sales force. A typical workday is comprised of making “warm” calls to contacts at companies who have expressed interest in our products and solutions or whom have requested information inbound on our website.

We are dedicated to promoting from within and almost every junior sales executive within 1-2 years is in a senior or outside sales role making more than $130k.

Responsibilities may also include personally quoting, supporting, and closing business related to opportunities that are not handled by the outside sales force.

Partner Success Manager

ID Agent is looking for an energetic customer service Superstar to act as a champion for its Partner members. The Partner Relations Manager will work with new customers to onboard and implement, train, and assist with marketing activities, to ensure Partner success with ID Agent platforms. As the liaison for our Partners back to the ID Agent team, the PRM will communicate frequently asked questions, suggestions for product enhancements, and strategic input on sales enablement materials and activities.

The PRM will develop skills to become:

  • The subject matter expert to the Managed IT Services Provider, on ID Agent products and how they can lead to business success;
  • The guru of Partner satisfaction, retention, technical support and timely responses to requests while determining corrective action independently;
  • An extension of the Partner’s team, building a relationship, understanding challenges and helping to solve them creatively, recommending additional products and services where needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Single point-of-contact for service activities, ensures consistent communication
  • Develop and execute strategy for contract renewals and retention
  • Ensure client satisfaction by responding promptly to customer inquiries
  • Coordinate activities of appropriate personnel to resolve issues
  • Call and email clients on a regular basis to maintain a strong, working relationship with client’s operational and senior management personnel
  • Maintain a strong knowledge base of the entire suite of products and pricing and educate clients on the product advantages
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgement in determining solutions to relationship issues with client
  • Manage client escalations and coordinate internal resources to ensure timely resolution.
